DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner (ages 18+) \nAssemble a whimsical frog suncatcher at Intro to Stained Glass: Frog on Thursday\, Sept. 10 from 5:30-9 p.m. in the Studio. \nLed by Kari Keller\, students will learn the basics of stained glass! Students will learn how to cut glass\, grind\, foil\, and solder while they work to make a fun\, whimsical frog suncatcher. This class is sure to get your hands working and creativity flowing. Take your frog with you to display in your home or gift to a family member or friend! \n$100/person*. Register here. Registration closes on Sept. 3 or when capacity is reached. She has had a passion for art since she could hold a crayon and loves to experiment with many different styles\, rarely sticking to one theme for long. \nKeller has dabbled in cartoons\, acrylic pouring\, zentangles\, patterns\, logo design\, pottery painting and other art forms. Her influences include Alphonse Mucha\, HR Geiger and the art of Northwest coastal Native Americans. She also has a thriving side business as a face painter. \nKari is happiest when immersed in a new project and can’t imagine life without art!

SUMMARY:Improve Your Improv
DESCRIPTION:Experience level: All skill levels (ages 18+) \nLearn the skills of improvisation\, including scene creation and team dynamics at Improve Your Improv on Thursdays\, Sept. 10 through Oct. 15 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Music Barn. \nInstructor Kyle Tasch returns to The Farms to teach this popular course\, which will be jam-packed with improvisational fun that will use both short-form games and long-form scenes in its sessions. \nStudents will be performing as much as possible to emphasize the mechanics needed to act out an entertaining and meaningful scene on the spot with no lines. These skills are useful on stage but also in everyday life\, wherever you might be put on the spot! Students who have already completed this class are welcome to join again. \n$100/person for the entire series here or $25/class at the links below. He started performing improv in 2004 and has been improvising in front of audiences regularly since 2015. \nHe has also taught classes both in-person and remotely at Westside Improv in Wheaton\, Illinois. He performs live across the state in various comedy and music acts and has produced hundreds of videos and songs.

Over the last decade she has expanded the range of classes to better serve the community. While she specializes in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow the most popular classes are Beginners Yoga\, Chair Yoga\, Kids classes\, Yin Yoga\, Restorative Yoga\, and Gentle Flow. \nShe teaches Community Yoga and Full Moon classes through The Farms at Allerton Park and Retreat Center and provides free classes at Monticello Middle School and Monticello High School. Josie has also led classes at the local hospital and senior assisted living facilities.
