SUMMARY:SUMMER DAY CAMP: Farm to Table presented by Busey Bank
DESCRIPTION:Like to eat food? Us too! Part culinary adventure and part agriculture exploration\, Summer Day Camp: Farm to Table on August 3-7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. will have campers learning and eating their way through our food system.\nCampers will enjoy water activities\, gardening\, reading\, drawing with sidewalk chalk\, playing games\, eating summer food\, and doing lots of exploring at Allerton Park! Register 5- to 7-year-olds as Acorns\, while 8- to 11-year-olds are Adventurers.\n$200/person for the week*. The following add-ons are available at registration: Early Arrivers from 7-8 a.m. ($15)\, After Care from 3-5:30 p.m. ($35)\, and lunch for the week ($25).  Campers can also bring their own lunch.\nRegistration will open March 11 at 9 a.m.\nRegister your Acorn (Ages 5-7) here.\nSOLD OUT Register your Adventurer (Ages 8-11) here. (Adventurers also have the opportunity to go to the Monticello Family Aquatic Center twice a week. Learn more here.)\n*Registration fees include two snacks\, camp T-shirt and all necessary materials. DESCRIPTION:Experience Level: Beginner\nNeed a good place to relax and concentrate on your latest read? Then swing out for our Silent Book Club on selected Mondays* from 5 to 7 p.m.\nThe evening will begin with a brief group discussion of what we are currently reading and to swap recommendations. Then participants will break up to do what they love: READ! You can curl up in the Butternut Room\, find a chair in the Solarium or read in front of a fire in the Gallery. If the weather is nice\, feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket and read outside!\nA cash bar will be available.\nSilent Book Club is free and registration is not required. Just show up with a book\, bring your favorite snack and get to reading!\nIf you would like to make a donation to support this and other Farms classes\, you can make a tax-deductible gift here. SUMMARY:The Farms: Arboretum Sunset Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Experience level: All levels\nCultivate connection with your body\, mind\, and nature at Arboretum Sunset Yoga on Mondays\, March 30\, April 13\, May 11\, July 6 or August 3 from 7-8 p.m. in the Oak Grove at the Illinois Arboretum (1800 S. Lincoln Ave.\, Urbana)*.\nKristina Reese will lead an all-levels class integrating yoga poses\, breath work\, and meditation. Enjoy the serene surroundings of the Arboretum as the sun sets on another day.\n$15/person**. Register here. Registration will close one day before each class or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.\n*Limited parking spots are available in the lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue. Additional parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House. Parking is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.\n**Students should bring a yoga mat\, water bottle\, towel and are encouraged to dress in layers.
