SOLD OUT – Once In A (Almost) Blue Moon Hike

March 29 @ 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Since 1792, The Old Farmer’s Almanac has been providing readers with planting and harvesting advice based on the cycles of the moon. When is the best time to plant annual flowers? Which vegetables should be planted during the waning moon? Join Ryan Pankau, U of I Extension Horticulture Educator, as he explores the folklore behind “planting by the signs” — just before the upcoming spring full moon!

To celebrate the rare occurrence of a blue moon (two full moons in one month), we’ll have another rare occurrence — Director Derek Peterson will be along to help guide the way, and field all of your questions about Allerton-related folklore.

This event has sold out.
Space is limited and registration is required.
