Art & Soul: Pysanky – Ukrainian Egg Decorating

Join artist Johanna James and learn the beautiful and traditional art of Ukrainian egg decorating. Johanna will share fascinating facts about the history of Pysanky, then take you through the step by step process using wax and dyes. You will create a beautiful egg to take home! Third Saturday Garden Tour

Allerton Park has 14 formal gardens, created by Robert Allerton between 1899 and 1946. Join one of our Third Saturday Garden Tours (April - October) and experience the beauty of each garden while listening to the history behind its creation. Garden tours start at 10am in the Visitor Center. Tours typically last 45-60 minutes, and all ages are welcome. No registration is required. Donations are appreciated! Forest-to-Mansion Foraging Hike

Spend the evening hiking through the early spring forest learning what you can and can't eat, and enjoying the spring wildflowers. Fourth Annual Plant Sale

Plan a trip out to Allerton and stop by our Fourth Annual Plant Sale! We will have annuals, herbs, perennials, arranged hanging baskets, and ALLERTON BLUEBELLS (!!!) for sale. Community Volunteer Garden Planting

We have 1,500 perennial plants to put in the ground - and need your help! No gardening experience is necessary, just a desire to help and spend some time with fellow community members in the garden!
